I became passionate about strength and movement because of a sentence I was told years ago: that my body couldn't handle running anymore. After multiple stress fractures, I sat across from a provider who told me to just accept it and move on. No plan, no explanation, no path back — just stop.
I didn't accept it. I went on to get my Doctorate in Physical Therapy, determined to actually understand what my body needed — and I built my career around making sure other women never have to hear "just stop" either.
Today, I run marathons. The body I was once told couldn't handle running anymore is the same body that gets me down the road for miles now — not because I got lucky, but because I found the right plan, and I built a career giving that same plan to other women.
Pregnancy changed my body again, in ways I didn't expect — and for a while, I didn't feel like myself in it. What brought me back wasn't cardio or willpower. It was strength training, done safely and progressively. It's what let me feel comfortable in my own body again, and it's what has me back on the road now, training to push my son in half marathons.

Every transition asks the same thing of your body — an injury, a pregnancy, aging, any setback. It needs safe, progressive strength to come back from it, not just time or willpower. That's the plan nobody gave me. It's the one I build for every woman who sits across from me now.
As your body changes, strength training isn't optional. It's essential to hold onto what you have and rebuild what you've lost. But there's a real risk in doing it wrong: you have to progressively overload your muscles to actually get stronger, and overloading without the right guidance is how people get hurt or plateau. That's exactly why working with someone who truly understands the body matters. It's not about pushing harder — it's about pushing safely, in a way that's built for where your body actually is right now.
I believe getting older — or getting hurt, or hitting a setback — doesn't have to mean doing less. No one should have to give up the things they love just because something hurts, or because someone told them to stop instead of showing them how to come back.
I've sat across from so many women since who tell me a version of what I once heard myself: "I didn't used to feel like this." Confused. A little discouraged. Convinced they've done something wrong, when they haven't — they've just never been told what their body actually needs now, or given a real plan to get back to it. That moment, where someone finally understands why, instead of just being told to push through it or give up, is the reason I do this work.
The alternative is staying where you are — adjusting your life around your body instead of the other way around, a little more every year, until the things you love quietly become things you used to do. You don't have to accept pain — or a setback, or someone telling you to just stop — as the end of the story. You don't have to keep adjusting your life around how your body feels. There's a path back, and I want to help you find it, the way I once had to find mine.
My background
I earned my Bachelor of Science in Health Sciences Studies from Baylor University, then went on to complete my Doctor of Physical Therapy at UT Southwestern. That background is exactly why my approach is personalized, not generic — it's shaped how I think about building a plan for your whole body, not just handing you a one-size-fits-all workout.
How I work
You already have enough going on. Trying to figure out why your body is hurting, or why you're doing everything "right" and still feel like you're losing ground — that's not something you need to carry alone. We'll build a clear game plan together, so you know exactly what we're doing and why, and you can start feeling better without adding more to your plate.
My work isn't just about pushing you harder — it's about giving you back freedom. The freedom to move the way you used to, to feel like yourself again, and to stop guessing at what might help and finally have a clear plan you can trust to actually get you there.
Let's build your plan.
It starts with one visit: a one-on-one assessment where we find out exactly where your body is right now — nothing guessed, nothing generic. From there, you get a real plan, built for you, and guided every step of the way.
What would you do if you felt 10 years younger?
Think about what you'd do with that energy back. The weekend where you're fully present — not managing how you feel. The activity you keep postponing. That version of you is closer than you think. Let's get you there.
